Taronga Wildlife Retreat
Design and construction of new hotel. The hotel consists of 63 guest rooms in five separate buildings, a new restaurant and guest lodge plus the refurbishment of the existing three level function centre. A new central chilled and heating water plantroom provides the thermal requirements of the air conditioning systems in each building via a network of underground piping. The central plant is also designed to provide life support systems for adjacent animal enclosures.

Our Lady of Assumptions Stage 2
VMS were successful in securing refurbishment of OLOA School with Stephen Edwards. The project consists installation of 29 new VRV fan coil units, 19 off fans and car park exhaust system all linked to I-Touch central controller. VENT Mechanical successfully completed handover of first stage of this project.

VENT Mechanical were engaged by Grindley Interiors to carry out office fitout works for NSW Department of Justice, which included alteration to the existing ductwork system, installation of new water cooled package units, installation of kitchen and utility exhaust systems, modification and extension of existing building management system and testing, re-balancing and commissioning of the mechanical systems.

Blacktown Hosptial Inpatient Haemodialysis Unit
Refurbishment of existing mechanical services to serve new Inpatient Haemodialysis Unit on level 4. The works included dilapidation report on existing services with inclusion of pre-commissioning reading, alteration to ductwork routes, installation of hot water VAV boxes, installation of motorised smoke fire dampers, motor and pulley upgrade in the existing Air Handling Unit, installation of variable speed drive, upgrades to the existing BMCS system and re-balancing of the system.

Taronga Institute of Science & Learning
Design and construction of new office, teaching and research facility for Taronga Zoo. The three level building consists of PC2 grade laboratories, fume cupboards, animal holding rooms, teaching rooms, office spaces and a 400 seat lecture theatre. To reduce the energy usage of the building a hybrid ventilation system incorporating an automated facade has been incorporated to office and teaching spaces to enable the use of cross flow ventilation in lieu of air conditioning when ambient temperatures are acceptable.

Macquarie University Innovation Hub
Design and construction of the mechanical services for new Macquarie University building with a strong emphasis on innovation and sustainability across the design of mechanical services. The client expectation was to develop a space which can be used to showcase different technologies. VENT Mechanical were engaged by Lipman to prepare reverse brief outlining design strategy for the building and were appointed to carry out design and installation of the mechanical services. The innovative installation included fan assisted trench convectors installed in raised floor all connected to externally located reversible cycle chiller, return air fans, modulating windows for natural ventilation and control strategies incorporating natural ventilation mode, night purge mode and carbon dioxide mode

King's School Admin & Education Service Support Building
Design and construction of the mechanical services to serve a newly refurbished Administration and Education Services Support Building at King's School. VENT Mechanical were contracted to provide suitable and cost competitive design solution to serve proposed alteration and additions to the existing building as well as to carry out installation of the mechanical services.

Mt Druitt Hospital Stage 2 Redevelopment
VENT Mechanical Services were involved by Kane Constructions to construct mechanical services for a new Drug Health and Renal Building at Mt Druitt Hospital. Mechanical scope consisted 23 new VRF Fan Coil Units for heating and cooling, outside air and exhaust air ventilation systems and expansion of the existing building control systems.

Blacktown Hospital Executive Administration
Following the successful delivery of IHU department Donnelley Constructions engaged VENT Mechanical to refurbish existing Pathology department on level 2 to Executive Administration Unit. Mechanical scope included demolition of existing services, installation of new 15 off chilled water and heating hot water fan coil units connected to the base building chiller and boiler plant and installation of 4 off outside air fans

ANZAC War Memorial
VENT Mechanical have been engaged by Built to design and construct mechanical services for extension of War Memorial, which includes Hall of Service, Exhibition and Collection spaces, Education and Conference Rooms. The systems include underfloor heating to serve Hall of Service, 3 off close control CRAC units with inclusion of humidity control for Exhibition and Collection spaces, 2 off heat recovery air handling units to pre-condition outside air, 5 off VRF fan coil units and miscellaneous exhaust systems for back of house area and kitchen, all systems fully controllable via BMCS.
